How Can recurring Chest Pain Be Treated?

I am a 78 year old woman with recurring chest pain over entire chest not related to any heart condition. Numerous tests ruled out any heart problem. Had chest x rays including chest rib x rays and they were normal. The pain can be severe and pain killers lke oxicontin don t work. I m wondering if it could be some kind of muscle inflamation. The pain is like a heavy weight is pressing my chest. Doctors at Mayo Clinic don t know. Thanks, Terry

Hello,

It could be a musculoskeletal pain.

As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
